Food is an integral part of any culture, celebration, and vacation, which is why we are the first luxury all-inclusive villas in Tulum. 

One of the greatest pleasures in life is food and we proudly highlight this through unique dishes created by our chef Alejandro Méndez. With more than 19 years of experience in the culinary world, Chef Méndez will guide this gastronomic experience, offering an unparalleled flavor experience.

A Paradise for the Senses

We want everything during your vacation to be taken care of. You will have privacy in your villa but with the benefits of an all-inclusive plan. Pricing is complimentary for kids ages 0-3, $60 for children ages 4-17, and $80 for anyone 18 and over, per day. You can enjoy breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner, a pizza bar, and many more surprises during your stay!

Daily breakfast is available between 8 am – 12 pm with delicacies such as Chilaquiles, Sandwich Montecristo, Crabcake Benedictinos, Spanish Serrano Ham eggs along with classic items including pancakes, french toast, yogurt, fruit and more.

Afternoon snacks and treats are offered between 11 am – 6 pm and include Club Sandwich, Crudités, Cheese Nachos, Ensalada Cesar, Cheeseburguer Trobbu, among others. 

Dinner is between 6 pm – 11 pm. Throughout the week, we will offer various menus that you can enjoy directly from the comfort of your villa. When you place an order, our team members will deliver the food and set up the table.

From Monday through Thursday guests can choose between seafood specialities including Camarones al Coco, Fish Carpaccio and Pasta Frutti di Mari; Taco Tuesday has an array of choices ranging from Tacos al Pastor to Tacos de Barbacoa and Tacos de Champiñones al Ajillo; Wednesday and Friday is Italian night with items such as Caprese salad, Carbonara pasta, and Panna Cotta de Maracuyá; Saturday is Lebanese cuisine with Libanes Trio, with hummus, baba ghanoush and jocoque, Cauliflower with  Labneh, Blaklava cheescake; Sunday is Mexican favorites with Esquites with shrimps, Mole with chicken and Dulce de Leche Flan.

Combo Deals

For an additional fee, guests can opt for the Grill Package where our team members will come to your villa to grill your meat directly on the grill for the full experience. This package offers a variety of options including Picaña, Tomahawk and Rib Eye, and a choice of two sides from Chorizo, Vegetable Skewers, Grilled Corn and Baked Potato. Each package includes guacamole, flour tortillas and green onions.

Delicious pizzas are available throughout the week for dinner and guests can choose from Margarita, Neapolitan, Serrano and Arugula, Vegetarian, among others. Additionally, children can make their favorite pizza in a space specially created so that they can also become little chefs and enjoy their stay at TROBBU even more with their family.

Chef
Alex Méndez

Born in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, Chef Alex Méndez pursued his culinary studies at the Paul Bocuse Institute in Lyon, France.

He trained under the legendary Chef Alain Senderenes at La Place de la Madeleine and at the three Michelin-starred Le Grand Véfour, helmed by Chef Guy Martin. While his time in Parisian kitchens was remarkable, it was at Chef Passard’s L’Arpège where Méndez truly found his culinary calling. There, he discovered a passion for seasonal, plant-based cuisine, the precision of a chef’s technique, and the freedom to imagine and create.

Subsequently, he traveled to Brazil, where he encountered the vibrant and distinct culinary styles of Helena Rizzo at Maní and Chef Atala at D.O.M.
